Who is TLR?
TLR is wholly owned and operated by freelance journalist and Charles County resident Paul Lagasse. TLR’s website address is http://lagassereport.com.
What personal data does TLR collect and why does TLR collect it?
Currently, TLR does not allow comments on posts. Feel free to leave your comments on TLR’s Facebook posts or tweet your replies on Twitter. The website is, and shall remain, a comment-free zone. This is in part because this is a volunteer project, and I just don’t have the time to monitor and police comments. Social media is the appropriate place to engage in discussion about the news stories I write here.
The subscription form collects your name (full name, just your first name, a pseudonym, whatever you want to put in there) and your email address so that I can send you a notice when a new post appears. That’s all I collect, and that’s all I use it for right now. I do not, and will not, share the information you submit with anyone else.
I may send out the very occasional survey or questionnaire to ask subscribers what they’d like to see more of, and less of. You don’t have to answer them, but if they annoy you, please let me know and I’ll opt you out of future such emails. Please don’t unsubscribe over that.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
TLR tracks aggregate visitor data using the WordPress Jetpack plugin. Jetpack does not collect any personally identifiable information.

What rights do you have over your data?
If you have subscribed to the mailing list and wish to unsubscribe, there’s an unsubscribe button at the bottom of every email the site sends out. Or you can also just shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know. It’s that simple.
